The Red Barn Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges through equine-assisted activities and therapies. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, the foundation offers therapeutic riding, occupational therapy, and mental health programs that harness the healing power of the horse-human connection. Each session is led by certified instructors and licensed therapists who tailor activities to meet participants’ individual goals, promoting confidence, coordination, communication, and emotional well-being.
Beyond therapy, The Red Barn Foundation fosters a supportive, inclusive community where participants and families can learn, grow, and connect. Its mission is to nurture hope, healing, and independence—one rider at a time.
