More about this center
About the Program
According to its website, the horse's motion stimulates the areas of the brain associated with walking, and exercises and activities on horseback help riders develop balance, coordination and rhythm. Riders learn to direct the horse with verbal commands and hand and leg signals, and they use gross motor skills grooming the horse before or after the ride.
The barn follows a natural horsemanship approach. Majoda says it is a lesson barn and does not rent horses, offer trail rides or host birthday parties.
