Therapeutic riding lessons run 50 minutes, with registration by semester, and instructors add ground lessons on leading and working with the horse. Hippotherapy is described as performed by licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. Equine facilitated learning offers individual and group lessons for youth under a certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning.
