Inspiration Ranch, formerly known as Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Magnolia, Texas. About the Program
According to its website, therapeutic riding classes run 30 to 60 minutes once a week during spring, summer and fall. The ranch lists more than fifty diagnoses among its riders, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and multiple sclerosis. It lists a 180 lb rider weight limit that may vary, and a ramp and lift for wheelchair users.
The mental health program uses a trauma-focused model based on Natural Lifemanship principles. The ranch says each client works with a licensed therapist, a certified equine professional and a horse of their choosing. Equine-assisted learning sessions are led by certified equine professionals and can be customized for groups.

Families start with the online interest form on the ranch's website. Intake for riding includes registration forms, a physician's release and an evaluation, which decides whether individual or group sessions fit best. The riding program currently has a waitlist.
The ranch also recruits volunteers as side walkers, horse leaders and event helpers. Applicants complete an online application and are then contacted about the next volunteer training.
